MountainHouse

MountainHouse 1.jpg

For those unfamiliar with MountainHouse, these guys have been called "mystics in the mountains," and they play all original music with an uplifting spiritual bent, featuring vocals, a phalanx of well-weathered acoustic guitars and fretted basses, with an occasional harmonica thrown in for character.

Steve Moore and Wendell Wolff met in Juvenile Hall and have been playing together ever since, in an impressive (to them) string of musical outfits from prog rock to blues, evolving to the acoustic format they are best known for.

On their latest album, In The Alpenglow, they continue this acoustic music journey they began nearly 20 years ago. Space for contemplation of lyric and melody are embraced and celebrated. No time for a backpacking trip? Come see the show, and you will feel like you've been to the mountains. Refreshed, heartened and ready for life's next season.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a matinee performance. Show time 1:30pm, Doors 1pm.

Tickets are $12 and are available in advance at the link below, or at the door the day of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby). The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own adult beverage with no additional corkage fee.
