Kenny White

NYC singer-songwriter Kenny White will be gracing The Back Room and its grand piano in support of his long-awaited, and aptly named, new album, Long List of Priors

You can watch the video for the first single, "A Road Less Traveled" here.
Kenny comes to the world of the touring singer-songwriter following a long and successful musical path. Starting in the 1970s as keyboard player for Jonathan Edwards and Livingston Taylor, he then became a fixture in the NY studio scene in the 1990s as producer and arranger for hundreds of commercials and many film soundtracks.  In 2001 he released his first album, one that not only showcased his talent as a musician, but also as a lyricist.  He subsequently released 3 albums on Judy Collins’ Wildflower Records, and tours with her throughout North America.

Although his new CD is rich with some of the East Coast’s finest musicians (and a guest back-up vocalist from California), Kenny will be out here performing alone.  Those of you who have seen him open on the many tours with Cheryl Wheeler, know that he is wildly entertaining.  This is the opportunity to experience his entire full-length show!

Tickets are $15 and are available at the link below or at the door the night of the show. Doors open one hour before show time. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us at #510-654-3808.
