Flamenco Night at The Back Room

Estefanía Narváez currently lives and performs in Seville, Spain. She is now on tour in the U.S., having just come from performing at the Joyce Theatre in NYC and Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in MA. Born in Boston, she began performing flamenco at age 7 and has since dedicated herself to the tradition of flamenco, frequently training in Spain and returning to the U.S. to perform nationwide. She has been living in Seville for the past 3 years, performing at the tablao Sala Sentir Flamenco, and El Auditório de Alvarez Quintero, as well as other venues in the homeland and heart center of Flamenco.

Manuel Gutierrez was born in Montpellier, France from a Spanish immigrant family steeped in the tradition of flamenco from Cordoba, Spain. Manuel has worked with artists such as Chicuelo, Duquende, Alfonso Losa, Carmen Ledesma, as well as toured with the opening act for Paco de Lucia's sextet. Manuel is profound and charismatic: on stage he demonstrates his tremendous rhythmic skill, vigorous and sensitive way of dancing. He now resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Jose Cortes was born in Marseille, France from a gypsy family rooted in Malaga, Spain. He moved to the Bay Area in 2009, though he tours and performs internationally. A traditional and groundbreaking singer, Jose Cortes' raw voice electrifies the air and his charismatic rhythm uplifts the most heaviest of notes.
