Kim Lembo

For more than 35 years, Kim Lembo has been giving back to the world of music singing her version of the blues.

During the 90’s, breaking out of the well known Central New York scene, she took the blues world by surprise and released 4 albums on Blue Wave Records. Being compared to Lou Ann Barton, Marcia Ball, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin, Lembo lived up to the hype with high energy shows, big belting blues and finally, a live album recorded in Paris in January/February of 2000. Capturing the bigness of her sound, Paris Burning was a hard boogying final exclamation point on her years with Blue Wave and her band, Blue Heat.

Taking a hiatus from recording, Lembo moved west to build a life in the Bay Area. Finally settling into Oakland, CA after years of writing new material she recently broke out with a 5th release some are calling her best album yet.  45 Miles promises to tell her story with Lembo’s unique perspective on life, love and reflections. She does so with a foot tapping, soul searching sound that gets better and better each time you listen. Lembo will be joined by several special guests promising an evening of soulful music, storytelling and groove.

Tickets are $18 and are available at the link below or at the door the night of the show. Doors open one hour before show time. If you need more information or if you have any questions, please call 510-654-3808.
