Jaeger & Reid

Jaeger & Reid.jpg

Jaeger & Reid (Judi Jaeger & Bob Reid) have just released From Way Up Here, their first album together. It is a collection of well-crafted, intelligently written songs of personal experience and social awareness, mixed in with beloved songs collected through the years.

Their performances feature rich vocals, whether singing alone or in a blend of tight, lush harmony over the interplay of two guitars, or guitar and ukulele. For this performance they will be joined by musicians who added their talents to their recording; Bob Burnett on mandolin, guitar, Jeff Crossley on bass and Ronny Crawford on percussion.

Bob Reid is a San Francisco Bay Area native, a 40+ year member of the San Francisco Folk Music Club, and former television host and member of the People’s Music Network steering committee. Judi Jaeger grew up near Montreal and in Vancouver, and brings her Canadian sensibility and well-honed songwriting skills to the duo. She became a performing songwriter after leaving her law career to raise a family. Her intimate and powerful vocals are framed by the intricate interplay of their voices and instruments.

“Judi and Bob fit together perfectly, their voices, their comments, their attitude, their dedication. There was no distance between audience and performers.” - A.M. - Pittsfield, MA

“Their music and voices will touch your soul and you'll find yourself singing along to some of their songs. Fabulous!” - D. L. - Palo Alto, CA

“Our friends and guests at our recent house concert are still raving about your vocals, guitars, and warm way with the audience. Most of all, many really appreciate the songs you each created and sang so beautifully.“ - K.J. - Durham, NC
