Rupert Wates was born in London and has been based since 2007 in New York City and Colorado. His material is acoustic, melodic art/folk, with flavors of jazz and cabaret.
He is the winner of well over 30 songwriting and performing awards. In the last two years alone, no less than two tribute albums to his material have been recorded by artists in Nashville and Los Angeles. He averages 120 live shows a year, in every state in the U.S., in Canada and in Europe, and he is delighted to be playing The Back Room.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the link below. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby).
