Henry Grace, Joshua Barnhart

Henry Grace.jpg

UK native Henry Grace began his music career in Los Angeles while at university. He started out playing small clubs in Venice Beach before moving on to play venues along the Sunset Strip and across California.

In 2016, he released his debut EP, Crash The Moon, and was picked by Guild Guitars as one of their "Artists to Watch." In 2017, he has continued performing across the UK and America, all while completing his undergraduate degree in English Literature from UC Berkeley. He is now in the process of recording his second EP due later this year. His music roams the genres of Folk and Blues, taking inspiration from the likes of Bon Iver, to Nick Drake and everything in-between, but ultimately Henry's sound is very much his own.

"A young man from England who is capable of silencing the room." - LA Weekly

"Listening to Henry Grace’s music, you would never guess that this UK native was young enough to still be in college. His lyrics, his playing, his debut EP, Crash The Moon, seem to be a part of a musician with years of writing and touring under his belt." - Guild Guitars

"His band was one of the tightest I've seen, not afraid to slow the tempo of their blues/folk right down and had the crowd enthralled." - TunAtheDay

“Henry Grace’s adept songwriting skills and unique vocals defy his age…he has uncanny depth and emotion for someone in his position.” - The B-Side Magazine

Joshua Barnhart emerged onto the international musical scene in 2007, drumming for Oakland-based folk-rock outfit, Port O'Brien. For roughly three years, they toured extensively throughout North America, Europe, and Australia. He later went on, primarily as a drummer and harmony singer, to play in Release the Sunbird, Two Sheds, and Sparrows Gate, among others.

In the midst of touring as a drummer, he cultivated his own craftsmanship as a songwriter and in 2016 released his debut album, Turn Out the Light. Drawing influences from Brian Eno, Harry Nilsson, and The Byrds (to name a few), as well as other heroes and friends alike, Joshua's harmony-drenched sound is centered on the experience of living on the coast of California.

"Joshua Barnhart is really good." - someone, allegedly.
