JuSusan (Just Susan) is a unique, soul-jazz composer/writer and vocalist who began singing in church at age 4 and went on to sing opera in college. Founder and CEO of Soft Sound Music, she recorded her first gospel jazz CD God’s Love Ballads in 2008.

She has performed and composed for numerous musical stage plays, and is currently preparing for her second music release. She has been a featured artist for innumerable private and community events sponsored or organized by the City of Berkeley, Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, Berkeley High School, Oakland Mayor’s Office, Black Fireman’s Assoc., NAACP, Oakland City Council, Oakland Police Dept., City of Richmond, City of Pittsburg, 100 Black Men of America, San Francisco Redevelopment Dept., Los Angeles Parks & Recs., Faith Fancher Foundation, Bridge-The-Gap Assoc., and many others.

Most of Susan's material is secular, and some of it is Gospel, but ALL of it is inspirational, a wide spectrum of soul-jazz songs to help us all to remember how to live and love.  She will be accompanied by pianist Sam Rudin.

Tickets are $15 and are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby).
