Beppe Gambetta

Beppe Gambetta.jpg

Beppe Gambetta started his activity in the U.S. more than 25 years ago and has a solid fan base all over the country. He is a singer, performer and composer, with a unique take on American and European roots music.

In his communicative live shows Beppe brings an innovative mix of influences to the traditional approach where energetic grooves together with poetic expressions and stories from his wandering life are delivered with charm and irony. He has performed several times in the past in Berkeley (at both the old and new Freight & Salvage).

He is touring in support of his new CD, Short Stories, which was released by the Canadian label Borealis in October.

Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for students with ID. Advance tickets are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby).

The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own adult beverage with no additional corkage fee. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-654-3808. Thank you for your support!
