Join Sam Rudin as he presents three outstanding vocalists in an extraordinary night of music. Valeriana Quevedo, Roberta Donnay, and Kay Kostopoulos and will knock you out with their unique styles of hot jazz.
Roberta Donnay has been associated with several genres and styles of American music. For many years she has been a featured member of Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks. More recently she formed the Prohibition Mob, a terrific band dedicated to the music of the 20's and 30's.
Black Olive Jazz artist, Kay Kostopoulos, is an elegant singer, actress and Stanford professor, whose unique sound is informed by her Mediterranean heritage and percussive finger cymbals. Her theatrical background lends an emotional sensitivity to her lush and sensuous three-octave vocal range.
Valeriana Q has been singing, dancing and playing percussion professionally since age 10. She's traveled throughout the United States as well as Asia and Europe. She is an exciting and vivacious performer who sings from her heart and her passionate and rhythmic vocal stylings are filled with sincerity and warmth.
