Alec Hutson Band and Adi Gobert of Speakeasē

A Boston-homegrown singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Alec Hutson crafts music that grabs your attention and pulls you in.

He and his five-piece band weave a rich tapestry that is a stirring combination of soaring folk melodies, deep soul grooves, and catchy pop sensibility with influences ranging from the Fleet Foxes, Lake Street Dive, Andrew Bird and Grizzly Bear. The result is an experience unlike anything else.

Joining Alec will be trumpet player/vocalist Devina Boughton, bassist/vocalist James Clark, drummer Matte Sklarz, and lead guitarist Octopus.

Adi Gobert is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter born in Toronto. Raised between Canada and Western Massachusetts, she started playing piano and saxophone in her early childhood. After developing a love of jazz, R&B, and soul music she went on to study vocal jazz and saxophone at Berklee College of Music and UMass Amherst. Now based out of Oakland, CA, she co-leads and fronts the contemporary neo-soul group, Speakeasē. Some of her biggest female inspirations include Susan Tedeschi, Erykah Badu, Grace Potter, Jill Scott, and Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote.
