Cuchulain (pronounced "ka-HOO-lin") is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, composer and session musician based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Best known as co-founder of the folk rock band Handsome Hound, Cuchulain released a solo album in November 2017 that features a diversity of songs ranging from second line to rock, from samba to hip hop, from country to choral music, always with an undercurrent of American folk. With a tongue-in-cheek lyrical humor likened to John Prine and Randy Newman, and the bass-baritone of Johnny Cash and Josh Turner, Cuchulain's melodies will tug at your ear long after the curtain call.
Praise for Cuchulain:
"He's my favorite musician!" - Cuchulain's mom
"He'd go further if his name were easier to pronounce!" - most everyone
