Small Town Therapy

SmallTownTherapy.jpg

Small Town Therapy is a collaboration between multi-instrumentalists Adam Roszkiewicz and Leif Karlstrom. The duo plays instrumental string music that emphasizes compelling, thoughtful compositions and virtuosic improvisation.

Adam and Leif are also members of the band Front Country (formerly based out of the San Francisco Bay Area), the Grammy-nominated Modern Mandolin Quartet, and the Ger Mandolin Orchestra, led by Mike Marshall.

Their second full length album, Dreams and Circumstances, was released in May 2019 on Organic Records.

"an impossibly tight, intertwined duet…Small Town Therapy are effortlessly in control. Their years spent in bands and on the road together are perhaps to blame — and thank — for this balance. In such a loose format, merely two voices bouncing off of and responding to one another, one might expect that freneticism to inevitably run off the rails, but it never does.” ~ The Bluegrass Situation

“…skilled acoustic fusion that rarely sits still for long and shifts with unpredictable, fascinating interplay between the massive talent.” ~ Take Effect Reviews
